Continuous Improvement Team

The Continuous Improvement (CI) Team identifies and implements operational efficiencies to ensure Fabric’s global network of Micro Fulfillment Centers (MFCs) improves performance day over day, driving a World Class Experience for the Fabric portfolio of clients. The primary functions of the IC Team are to collaborate with site leaders to identify opportunities in processes and design and then partner with stakeholders throughout the organization to create and implement solutions to improve these areas of opportunity. 


Job Overview

The Continuous Improvement is an individual contributor role on our US Continuous Improvement Team (CI). This role is responsible for compiling operational data to create reports and visuals of operation’s performance for internal and external use. This role will understand the operational flow to help them identify trends in the data to find and help the CI team address operational inefficiencies. They apply their expertise in database design, SQL, and data visualization to communicate results to the CI team, site leaders, and internal and external executive leaders.


Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain network dashboards and site scorecards to display site performance including production rates and Service Level Agreement (SLA) adherence for the entire fulfillment network
  • Create, scale, and automate an operator scorecard program to track and record team member’s safety, quality, and productivity metrics to assist site leaders in leading their teams
  • Assist CI team with creating a baseline of performance in the networks’ sites and processes and with understanding significant variations from the baseline via data trends 
  • Communicate to key stakeholders illustrating anticipated and actual impacts of operational changes from CI initiatives
  • Collaborate with Site Leadership and Sr. Inventory Analyst to track site inventory capacity and mitigate its risk to inbound operations
  • Monitor on-going production processes, to document unexpected slowdowns and proactively identify new bottlenecks
  • Identify and communicate trends in Fabric’s footprint of micro fulfillment center data and performance, and performs data analysis to support continuous improvement efforts
  • Leverage critical thinking to provide recommendations to site leadership
  • <15% travel, as needed
Requirements
  • 0-2 years of experience in logistics or supply chain field, fulfillment center experience preferred
  • Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Operations Management preferred
  • Demonstrated reasoning, critical thinking, and problem solving skills
  • Experience creating dashboards and other data visualization tools, especially with PowerBI, Sisense, Board and Tableau
  • Experience with database design, SQL, and ETL processes and with tools such as snowflake and Postgres
  • Experience guiding creative solutions to complex problems
  • Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Comfortable working autonomously in an ambiguous, fast-paced and self-motivated environment
  • Ability to learn new software and act as key user in its deployment to the network
