Position title 

We are looking for a Bookkeeper to join our Finance team in Tel Aviv.

Team 

Our responsibility as a team is the preparation of the Company’s financial statements, day-to-day bookkeeping, payroll and payments, invoicing our customers, preparing and evaluating the Company’s budget and financial analysis.

Job Overview

We're looking for a bookkeeper to join our growing finance team and assist our day-to-day accounting operations and monthly closing process. You will be an integral part of the vendor payment process, general ledger accounting, tax reporting, and reconciliation processes.

Responsibilities 

• Process invoices from local and international service and goods’ vendors including interaction with procurement department personnel.

• Process payments in accordance with payment terms and established payment schedules.

• Foreign vendors tax deduction management.

• Manage employees’ travel and expense reimbursements, ensuring compliance with the company’s policies.

• Prepare monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.

• Managing accruals and prepaid expenses.

• Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and preparation of supporting workpapers.

• Review of general ledger accounts for accuracy as part of monthly closing.

• Preparation of reports to local authorities (income tax, VAT).

• Manage monthly, quarterly and year-end closing tasks.

• Continuous review of processes for improvement.

Requirements

·       At least 5 years of experience in a global high-tech company as a bookkeeper.

·       Certified Bookkeeper type 3.

·       Excellent organizational skills with an ability to think proactively and prioritize work.

·       Advanced English level - both verbal and written.

·       Experience with Priority or NetSuite – advantage

·       Experience with Expensify - advantage

·       Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel – must

·       Experience with implementation of accounting tools and processes - advantage

·       Team player with good interpersonal skills.
