Head of PMO

Fabric is looking for a Head of PMO to join our Program Management Department under the Global Operations Group and to lead the Project Management Office 


About the role

The Head of PMO will be responsible to develop and maintain project portfolio, program and project methodologies, and tools and enable program and project managers to execute their plans. The PMO group is responsible for the alignment of all the company projects and programs by managing a portfolio and ensuring strategy alignment, available resources, and company roadmap is reflected and aligned with various stakeholders. 


Responsibilities 

  • Develop, plan and ensure execution of the company’s roadmap and portfolio projects
  • Develop Program and Project methodology, tools, and processes including handbooks, templates, automation tools
  • Lead the resource allocation and coordination and integration activities, ensure priorities are defined and enforced, reduce risks and support long-term planning. 
  • Specify, define and implement a PPM system, BI Reporting, Flow automation to become the company’s enterprise portfolio and roadmap system and day-to-day working tools for program/project managers. 
  • Hire, Train and Manage directly and through 3rd party project coordinators / PMOs 
  • Build project governance, gating, decision making, and change management mechanism
  • Determine key performance indicators for our various types of projects and programs, ensure alignment with business strategy and goals. 
  • Work cross-functionally with the various operations and business teams
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships across organizations and geographies.
  • Lead PMO’s initiatives in developing, optimizing, and automating processes and continuous improvement of the MFC program. 
  • Work hand in hand with finance and ensure compliance with Company plan and rev. recognition on projects. 
  • Ensure goals, objectives and KPIs are tracked and measured, build the tracking mechanism 
  • Budget control 
  • Communicate delivery goals, measure KPIs for senior management.



Requirements
  • BA/B.Sc. Engineering / Business Administration - MBA Preferred 
  • 5 years of experience in setting up a PMO 
  • 10-15 years of experience in project management in similar industries, involving HW, SW, and Operation 
  • Vast knowledge and practice of PMO (Preferably PMI) processes and methodologies 
  • Proven experience of setting up a PPM / PMIS system
  • Portfolio management experience
  • Proven ability to work in a global team and a multicultural environment
  • Proven leadership skills, training, mentoring and resolving conflicts. 
  • Significant experience working in a cross-functional environment
  • Experience with MS Project, PowerBI, 
  • Ability to travel up to 25% globally.
