About The Position

Fabric (Formally known as CommonSense Robotics) is looking for an experienced US Logistics and Procurement Manager to join our growing team in New York.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Be the expert for the supply chain activities (procurement and logistics) in the US region
  • Be the main contact for all subjects related to the shipping and inventory life cycle to ensure timely and quality delivery
  • Implement cost-effective and quality purchases of all goods and services (direct and indirect), as required by the company
  • Source and engage reliable suppliers and vendors
  • Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms
  • Approving purchase orders and organizing and confirming the delivery of goods and services
  • Manage the IT systems that track shipments, inventory, and the supply of goods
  • Update and prepare supply chain reports and status


Key Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in managing procurement and logistics in the US in the industrial market field
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration
  • In-depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms
  • Technical skills. experience with sourcing of electronic & mechanical products
  • Willing to travel to sites and supplier (~25% out of office)
  • Management and leadership skills
  • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Excellent interpersonal, and written and verbal communication skills
  • Team player who can work independently while prioritizing his/her own work and resources
  • Works well under pressure and within short time constraints; able to work with high levels of ambiguity
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong skills in ERP software - advantage Priority
  • Fluent English
