About The Position

Fabric (Formally known as CommonSense Robotics) is looking for an e-commerce Fulfillment Center Site Manager to join our Operations team.

What are your Roles and Responsibilities?

 In a broader sense, we're building on-demand supply chains that enable sustainable, one-hour delivery to online customers. Our Micro-Fulfillment Center (Facility), where our robots live, is an urban, automated fulfillment solution that combines the benefits of local distribution with the economics of automated fulfillment, and is re-defining the way goods are fulfilled and delivered within cities. By utilizing a novel approach to this last-mile challenge and state-of- the-art robotics and AI, we enable true on-demand services, dramatically reduced operational costs and superior operational scalability. We've already demonstrated our disruptive technology, but there's still a lot ahead of us. We're now quickly expanding towards our first installations and we invite you to join us on this amazing journey.

We are looking for a proven leader to oversee day-to-day operations of our Micro-Fulfillment Centers

What are your Roles and Responsibilities?

Oversee day to day service operations, including:

  • Accountability for facility key performance indicators and profitabilities (e.g., on time %, labor efficiency etc)
  • Manage facility staff and ensure high motivation, satisfaction and performance
  • Ensure seamless operations - receive, decant, pick, dispatch, stock management
  • Communicate with external stakeholders - suppliers, drivers and clients
  • Provide feedback to Operations Development and R&D teams regarding product

Requirements

Requirements: 

 

  • - 3+ years of management experience in an operational environment (start-up preferred)
  • - Proven experience in grocery management- a big advantage
  • - Great interpersonal skills - natural leader, strong team player
  • - Ability to work under pressure, in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment and willing to get your hands dirty
  • - High attention to detail and strong execution skills
  • - Good customer service skills
  • - Great analytical problem-solving skills and process orientation
  • - Proven experience - WMS, excel, e-mail
  • - Fluent in English (spoken and written)
