Robotics
Our robots are designed with a software-led approach, where the intelligence lies within the central navigation system rather than each individual robot. This approach minimizes the need for costly hardware in each robot and enhances reliability. By employing two specialized robots - Lift Robots and Ground Robots - we simplified mechanics, making our robots incredibly robust and reliable.
Lift robots
Lift robots move vertically and horizontally within their aisles, retrieving and returning totes from the shelving units on either side of the aisle.
Equipped with sliding contacts for in-process charging, the robot can operate continuously with minimal charge time. Its ability to pull and push totes from both sides maximizes efficiency and productivity, while its advanced navigation system ensures fast and reliable movement.
Ground robots
Ground Robots are designed for efficient transport of totes around the site floor.
Ground robots are controlled by a central navigation system that directs them to the fastest routes while avoiding ‘traffic jams’, maximizing retrieval speed and boosting picking rates. In addition, the ground robots have in-process charging, allowing them to operate continuously with minimal charge time.
